As part of its ongoing efforts to become an important partner for sustainable construction projects, Vetrotech Saint-Gobain has extended its Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) range by four additional declarations. The EPD for Contraflam 30 fire-resistant glass now includes the oversize CONTRAFLAM MEGA and three new EPDs have been published to make transparent the environmental impact of CONTRAFLAM 60, 90 and 120.

In line with the company's own sustainability philosophy, Vetrotech Switzerland is committed to protecting bees and thus preserving domestic biodiversity. The Vetrotech production site in Romont recently accommodated three beehives with western honey bees. Thanks to the initiative of the two employees, Vincent Johner and Michel Oberson, around 200,000 bees have found a new and safe home. The employees of the production site will soon be invited to taste the honey harvested this year.
