Provision of the website
Survey of the website
Every time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information. This information is temporarily stored in so-called server log files. This data is collected automatically as soon as you access our website. Access data includes
- Name of the accessed web page/file
- Date and time of retrieval
- Amount of data transferred
- Notification of successful retrieval
- Browser type and version, as well as other information transmitted by the browser
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- IP address and the requesting provider
For security reasons (e.g. to investigate acts of abuse or fraud), log file information is stored for a maximum period of 120 days and then deleted. Data whose further retention is necessary for evidentiary purposes is exempt from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.
This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.
Purpose of data processing
The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable the website to be delivered to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.
The information is stored in log files to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, the data is used to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.
An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.
Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for the data processing and temporary storage of the data as well as the log files is our legitimate interest, which results from the listed purposes.
Duration of storage
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.
In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.
The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected or have been made unrecognizable. Beyond this, storage takes place at most due to data backup processes, or by deleting or alienating the IP addresses of the users, so that it is no longer possible to assign the accessing browser.
Possibility of objection and removal
The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility of objection on the part of the user.
