"Total Facading" - from new construction to renovation
Our façade systems combine design freedom with technical performance – for architecture that is both aesthetically convincing and meets sustainable requirements.
Systems for the right aesthetics
Architecturally characteristic facades can be implemented precisely and safely with the tested façade systems from SaintGobain Weber. Whether plastered facades, clinker bricks, ceramics, natural or artificial stone as well as glass mosaics – the systems offer a high degree of design freedom and enable individual, high-quality façade solutions while at the same time clearly defining system structures.
Systems for more sustainability
The façade systems make a significant contribution to the energy efficiency of buildings and support the fulfilment of current climate targets and CO₂‑ targets. They are suitable for new buildings as well as for renovations and can be used on all substrates suitable for external thermal insulation – with tested systems and traceable technical performance over the entire life cycle

Ventilated façade
Rear-ventilated façades combine permanent moisture protection, high energy efficiency and design freedom – making them one of the most sustainable façade solutions in modern building construction.
Solutions for durable facades that are safe in terms of building physics
Rear-ventilated facades are low-maintenance, durable and particularly resistant to weather influences. The rear ventilation room ensures continuous air circulation, through which the building and moisture is reliably dissipated. As a result, exterior walls dry out quickly and the risk of moisture damage is sustainably reduced. In summer, the air gap also contributes to the reduction of thermal stress.
The multi-layer structure of mechanically fastened insulation, substructure, rear ventilation space and façade cladding enables a clear functional separation of the supporting structure, insulation and weather protection. At the same time, this façade construction method opens up a high level of design diversity – from classic cladding to semi-transparent or energy-generating façade solutions.
Solutions for fire protection, sound insulation and humidity management
Isover insulation materials made of glass wool are specially designed for rear-ventilated facades. They are hydrophobic (WScertified), permeable to diffusion and, thanks to their combination with the rear-ventilated air layer, minimise the risk of condensation in the wall construction. Water vapour is reliably dissipated without impairing the insulation performance.
Thanks to their fibrous structure, the insulation materials also offer effective protection against external noise and thus contribute to high sound insulation values of the entire façade construction. At the same time, Isover insulation materials are non-combustible (fire behaviour RF1) and meet the requirements of the VKF/AEAI even with increased fire protection requirements. For particularly demanding applications, insulation boards with a melting point of 1000 °C are available.
For architects, builders and investors, this means durable façade solutions with a high level of safety, clear building physics function and long-term intrinsic value.
